“Financial aid never runs out!”

Actually…federal student loans have a limit to the amount you can borrow as an undergraduate student.  That limit is $57,500 unless you are considered to be a dependent student.  Dependent students have an undergraduate limit of $31,000.  Even the federal Pell grant has a limit to the amount you receive which is call the Lifetime Eligibility Used (LEU).  To see how much you have used in federal student loans and the federal Pell grant, go to the National Student Loan Data System to review your financial aid history: www.nslds.ed.gov.
